On the morning I posted all about the bulbs popping up around A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville, I had to run out to my car in the pouring rain to let my dear wife Karen pull out from behind me to leave for her job at Syracuse Media Group.
Lightning flashed around me, so I sat in my Chevy Cruze for a moment, timing my return to finish my Friday of this staycation. Lots to accomplish.
Then another February thaw phenomena began, impossible to ignore.
Hail pounded the roof, hood, driveway, lawn, block as I looked as far as I could.
And I hadn’t stuck my iPhone 6 into my jacket pocket.
Oh, it was still in evidence when I gathered courage and ran inside to join Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle.
We are sitting in the dark. I’m writing this on my iPad Pro’s battery charge.
Interesting, this week in February.
What’s the biggest hail you’ve seen?
How long was your power out?
