A week ago I had to work a few hours at the Liverpool Public Library.
Shooting video of Ron Spencer and Jumpstart entertaining a standing-room-only crowd in the Carman Community Room was so much fun that I had to pull out one right here today to share with the rest of the world.
That’s Mark Gibson on lead vocals for the Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown song “I Ain’t Mad At You.”
Much fun.
Enjoy.
Those living in Central New York can visit the LPL for the next three parts of Origins of Jazz II, on Feb. 19 for the Mike Dubaniewicz Quartet, March 19 for the Jazz Horn Legacy Sextet, and April 9 for E.S.P.
What a treat for the blues-deprived. Thanks, Mark!

One should never stay blues-deprived for too long, Martha. 🙂
