A recent walk around our Syracuse city neighborhood of Eastwood led us past one fat cat who’d found a fine place to hang out.
My dear wife Karen saw the kitty first. Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle never seemed to notice.
Have fun finding the industrious cat. If only its owner dressed it in a red striped sweater …
If you’re a cat owner, where does your pet like to hang out? Where’s the strangest place you’ve seen a pet? Where’s the strangest place you’ve seen a non-domesticated animal?
Being owned by 4 cats myself, I knew right where to look for this handsome guy. He looks quite comfy and cozy, doesn’t he?

Took me a minute, but as a former can owner I at least knew where to begin. That mattress was a dead give-a-way for a place to search. So how’s life in the fast lane bro Mark? All is well here, unless you want to count the mold I’m growing from all the rainy weather we’re having. Or the near heart attacks from the tornado sirens going off so frequently in late afternoon relaxing times. Other than that, I’m raising a couple of tomato plants and a zucchini in my window, hoping they will produce at least one each. Not much money invested, so if no produce produced I’ll just mark it down as a noble experiment and write it off as a good cause gone bad that won’t be repeated next year. The plants look great, but whether they will have anything on them is another matter. More concerned with the tomatoes than the zucchini, because the zucchini probably would grow on just the dirt embedded in the carpet, and be enough to feed the whole city. It’s the tomatoes I really want a few bites of, and I want them NOW.
Have a good week brother, and try not to work too hard.

I wish you silent sirens and fresh tomatoes, sis Angie. Thank you.

Typo there bro Mark. CAT owner. Although I’ve owned a few cans also — even opened a few, including one last night.

They always perch up high – so they can decide if you are worth pouncing on…well, usually not as they tend to zone out.
(Noticed the nice composition in the photo with all the strong lines and shapes…and of course there is a cat)

someone’s cat loves sitting under our trampoline. It looks at me as though I’m the trespasser 🙂

I’d bounce really hard with a strange cat under my trampoline, Rachel! That’s an odd place to rest, I’d say, 😮

Cats like to be perched up high where they can see everything and look down on you! I spotted him right off Mark. ❤

ah, the ever-popular mattress fort! ) cats love to hide in all kinds of places, so amazing where you find them. glen the cat not the rocker loves to hide way under the bed where he is unreachable, or to climb up to his basket on the bench by the window to look over his kingdom )

Good spots for a cat not a rocker to survey a kingdom, I’d say. ❤

HA! A bed mattress outside on a deck? Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt??? Yu live in a very different type of neighborhood than we do Mark? Don’t you have zoning laws there? LOL. My Cat Tyler loves the master bedroom and especially the walk-in closet-and my shoe boxes (I empty a few for him). Gatorette.

This is a rental house, Gatorette. The yard is not so tidy. 😦
