Our Christmas Tree for 2015.
At the loving prompting of my dear wife Karen, used a shovel and sweat and she took it the rest of the way with top soil and Miracle Gro to put a pretty little juniper into the earth in front of our Little Bitty in the Syracuse city neighborhood of Eastwood some half dozen years ago.
This year it had grown big and strong and sturdy enough to support lights, ornaments, and the weight of our Christmas wishes to you all out there in the big world.
May you enjoy peace, love and warmth today.

Here in still-snowless Buffalo (imagine that!), we just finished our family brunch at my house. Now we’re cleaning up and getting ready for the second stage – lasagna dinner with just my husband, myself, my mother-in-law and my youngest daughter. Mimosas for brunch, and wine with dinner. What could be better?
