Merry Christmas from Syracuse, N.Y.

Our Christmas Tree for 2015.

Our Christmas Tree for 2015.

At the loving prompting of my dear wife Karen, used a shovel and sweat and she took it the rest of the way with top soil and Miracle Gro to put a pretty little juniper into the earth in front of our Little Bitty in the Syracuse city neighborhood of Eastwood some half dozen years ago.

This year it had grown big and strong and sturdy enough to support lights, ornaments, and the weight of our Christmas wishes to you all out there in the big world.

May you enjoy peace, love and warmth today.

Merry Christmas from myself, Karen, Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle and all of us who will find comfort sharing time in the Little Bitty: Elisabeth, George Three, Daryl, Vicky and Alexis.

What are your plans for the holiday?

  1. Aw same to you Mark! Hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas. I recently wrote a post on my blog about the juniper, you are so lucky to have one in your garden. It looks very pretty too. Happy New Year to you!

  2. It’s a fancy version of most weekends for us, Mark. Love, laughter, foods, snuggles, games, movies, music, books and walks — but with twinkly lights, icing, and presents!
Merry Christmas to you & yours — Hope y’all have much of the same! ❤

  3. Here in still-snowless Buffalo (imagine that!), we just finished our family brunch at my house. Now we’re cleaning up and getting ready for the second stage – lasagna dinner with just my husband, myself, my mother-in-law and my youngest daughter. Mimosas for brunch, and wine with dinner. What could be better?

  4. Merry Christmas Mark et al! I will be spending Christmas at my ex’s place with his fiancé, their daughter and my daughter. Talk about peace on earth and goodwill to (wo)men! Wishing you all the best for 2016. ❤

    • My wife bought me a coffee mug that says “I’m dreaming of a green Christmas”. Santa is putting on the green….how appropriate is that this year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Karen, and Ellie B!!
