Yes, we have become familiar in our little golf league that just switched to Wednesday night for the final three weeks of the season.
Look at this string of texts. They say so much more than I possibly could.
And so we played the back nine, five of us in one group, after DJ arrived one hole late and caught up as we watched him from just off the 10th green.

We will be struggling to finish with any light left at all. It was dark on the 18th green, 7:45 p.m. when the last putt fell. And we lose another 14 minutes of light …

Summer went by so fast! But, you can dream about your golf league beginning again next year! 🙂 I love to text!!! 🙂 Especially with my kids who are all adults (and married or living on their own). I sent them silly texts just to make them laugh! Example, one time after giving my pooch a bath, I texted the kids and said, “Ah! Cooper smells like a tropical breeze!” 😉
Spellcheck and auto correct hate me…because I love to make up words, use silly spellings, abbreviations, and nicknames, etc.! 🙂 One time auto correct changed “volvo” to “vulva”…that was awkward. 😮

I don’t like auto correct and sometimes things come out horrible, Mark.
The worst text chain was while song and DIL were in hospital having grandbaby and my oldest granddaughter started texting her Mom. Soon I sent a note saying something about snacks and baths. The oldest was trying to “play” all parties to get some extra ice cream. Oh well not as “bad” weeks later but it upset her mom.

I’m sorry to see your little golf league shut down for the season, seems like yesterday that it got going for the season. Sigh. Summer just doesn’t last long enough. 😦 Woe is us. (LOL!)
