A second star on my Blog of the Year award

The very busy man we all know and love by the name of Don Charisma has nominated me for the Blog of the Year Award 2013.

I’d like to thank Don for diverting some time from taking those wonderful pictures, crafting words of wisdom and introducing topics for discussion on DonCharisma.com to include me on his list of award nominations.

It’s my second star. I am proud.

Blog of Year two starts

Here are the acceptance guidelines:

1-Select the blog(s) you think deserve the Blog of the Year 2013 Award.

2-Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen — there are no minimum or maximum number of blogs required — and ‘present’ the blog(s) with their award.

3-Let the blog(s) that you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the instructions with them- (please don’t alter the instructions or the badges!)

4-Come over and say hello to the originator of the Blog Of The Year 2013 Award via this link: http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/blog-awards-2-/blog-of-the-year-2013-award/

5-You can now also join the Blog Of The Year Award Facebook Page. Click the link here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BlogoftheYear

Share your blog posts with an even wider audience.

6-And as a winner of the award- please add a link back to the blog that presented you with this award- and then proudly display the award on your blog- and start collecting stars.

(As always, acceptance of this award is not obligatory.)

On Don’s announcement, he included a graphic panel that displayed the logo with all six star choices. That will make it easier for my recipients to locate their proper star level to include on their posts. Here you go:

My Choices

Here are blogs that I attempt to read every time they post. I will not repeat any of the blogs I nominated when I received my first star. I’m going with 11 because there’s nobody on here I could bear to trim to make it 10. These are in no particular order of ranking.

http://knockedoverbyafeather.wordpress.com You are piling up the stars now, Mer, and you deserve each one. I called you versatile last time. This time I nominate you for Best.

http://ididnthavemyglasseson.com Your words and photos from Ann Arbor make me smile every time, Beth. And now I know we were born the same year, too.

http://annkoplow.wordpress.com Ann Koplow, you have become my favorite non-judgmental blogger.

http://aussalorens.com Aussa, each and every post of yours is a panic, and I mean that in the good way. What a life you lead.

http://treyzguyblog.com Man, the stuff you come up with in that big-rig truck of yours, Trey, is funny, odd and smart.

http://bikecolleenbrown.wordpress.com You say you chatter, I say you always dig deep, Colleen.

http://pricelessjoy.co I love your drawings and your words, PJ!

http://valleygirlgonecountry.wordpress.com Your take on life is always interesting, Jolene, even when I think you are too easy on your sister.

http://muscleheaded.wordpress.com Keep sharing the peculiar things you love about the south, please, Muscleheaded.

http://suzie81.wordpress.com Your voice from London cuts through my mental fog, Suzie.

http://agwink.me/tag/wordpress/ Angie, you work so darn hard on your blog, even when you have to type with one finger! You battle through your MS, and your written voice keeps a smile on its face.

Thank you all for making my reading list a fascinating place to visit.

  1. Thank you so much Mark, I am honored to have it bestowed upon me by you. But I will be the 11th one and let the 10 others accept. I haven’t been accepting any badges because I don’t have the time it takes and also, I don’t know how to attach those badges to my post. πŸ˜€

  2. Aw, I read quite a few of these people and they are all excellent choices! I am happy to be in such great company. The others I will need to check out as well. Thanks so much for thinking of me with this! I like how you describe my posts as a “panic,” that makes a lot of sense, actually!
Congrats on this award– it is well deserved!
